Personal opinion - You should not accept anything along the lines of a free or discounted service or product from a business that you are auditing.
A place passes every time and always lets you stop and watch the film. Doesn't look good really if a client digs into it and finds you sign out 2 hours before you sign in.
Excellent Point..
Some of the locations I audit offer me Breakfast or Lunch, or a Sandwich and Drink to take away, I would never accept, its just not worth it and is bound to come back and bite you at some point, no matter how genuine the offer.Over 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0 -
I've always thought its best not to accept anything or buy anything while doing an audit. I really don't like the cinema anyway, I'd much rather watch a film in my pj's at home.0

I used to stocktake pubs, we always got food and (non alcoholic) drinks and there was always the understanding that it never affected a result, it's called hospitality.
I have done open audits and partook of tea and coffee, done the film trailer checks and the odd once accepted an offer to stay for the film, if anyone things a cup of tea or a bacon butty will sway results they are stupider than I though.0 -
I try to keep it to the level of what they would give a member of staff on shift. I'll accept a brew if they're making one, but if it's something that should go through the till, it's a no.
You've got to remember, there's people in this world who make a living out of making sure people are doing their job properly [sic].Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -

I like it when there's a job literally round the corner from my house. Doesn't happen often but good when it does
Only ever had one job in my village; a small supermarket shop. Took the dog for a walk, did the shop, then walked back home....lovelyDoes anyone still get any decent premiums off of DS on here? Looks like just about everyone signed up thanks to a particular rave review on here! I won't be surprised if they do a MF and drop the fee now because they have loads of people on their books.
I've picked up some last minute DS shops and got nice premiums on each one. Don't ever think they'll do an MF but, if they do, then I'll do what I do with MF, and chin 'em off!0 -
Did anyone just get the email off Amber Arch? She wants a full body photo for the posh car driving. Does she mean clothed or naked? Dirty bi$ch!
