Gap suspended my account, probably because I didn't log in for a couple of years :o I emailed them a few days ago, maybe even a week ago to ask if my account could be reopened as I would be active again now properly and i've heard nothing. Do you think it's likely they'll reopen it? I did try to rejoin under a different email before I contacted them but I was rejected.
 Think happy & you'll be happy
    I :heart2: my doggies
  • On GFK how do you know if your report has been accepted? I did my first job a couple of days ago and submitted my report and it has disappeared from my scheduled visits, but I have no payments pending or anything to indicate the job is under review.

You don't get any kind of notification that it’s been accepted, they will only contact you if there's an issue. A couple of days after you have been paid they will update your payment history on the website and you can check which jobs you've received payment for.

Doing those audits for 2 years, I have not once been asked to sign in or given a pass, these are my favorite audits.

Thanks all for the replies. Do you ever stay in and watch the film???:naughty:

I was offered the chance to stay once (by the local indie cinema manager). It was Justin Bieber so I politely declined...

No. One of mine waits for you outside the screen. Another made a point of telling me that another shopper had stayed to watch the film and they wanted a phone number so they could complain.

Personal opinion - You should not accept anything along the lines of a free or discounted service or product from a business that you are auditing.

A place passes every time and always lets you stop and watch the film. Doesn't look good really if a client digs into it and finds you sign out 2 hours before you sign in.
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Good point - never thought about it that way before!

The way I look at it, it's not what you might do or would do, it's about what you could be seen to be doing by a suspicious mind checking up on you.

Just had this in from gap, I didnt even know they had it, let alone have me in it.. not aware of any benefits...

I did notice in a signing in book the other month that someone from GAPbuster had signed in to do an open audit on behalf of a card company. No idea if they were a shiney mystery shopper or something else.

  • No I don't stay, I'm always offered by the Indies, but o schedule them after each other, so if I stayed I wouldn't be able to do the other jobs, o try to get them done within 2days because of the timings.

Done a gfk banking job, really easy and I want more. Lol
