Hi, what's the maximum number of hours a person can work before they are no longer eligible for housing benefit.
Also, is housing benefit the same as claiming JSA? E.g. have to show been looking for more paid work etc?

There is no set limit to the number of hours you can work - HB entitlement depends on income and your eligible rent. Is it a private rental or social housing?
HB does not depend on you looking for work. It can be claimed on the basis of having a low income.0 -
housing benefit is based on household income and not hours worked. you do not have to be seeking work or receiving other benefits to receive it0
