    Hi Shaun,

In going for any job you should always way up the pros and cons and I only see problems with this position

    1. Distance is quite considerable for 25 hours per week
    2. You don't have a car
    3. Rota includes 7.30am starts
    4. Saturday shifts included

I'm all for people getting on and especially in these testing times, but when something doesn't look right or appealing then, you just have to move on and with this vacancy, I personally would do just that.

    Hi Scooby,

I am 100% not lazy, its just I have never been to rochdale so I don't know what bus to get.

I would love a job as I am jobseeking but I only wanted information on this job, I didn't know people on here would have a go at me. :(

    Hi shmeeko69,

So what you saying just to apply for the job? or just leave it and find other jobs in other area's like manchester, nelson ete.

I apply for jobs in Manchester as I easly can get the x43 (the witch way) if I get a job in manchester.

OP, Rochdale is in Greater Manchester - it lies on the border.

Try googling it, as you have been told numerous times. Not a clue how you think you can get here by 7:30am, but you live in the sticks so to speak, so transport will be an issue for travelling that far.

You need to make up your own mind with what you want to do - we cannot do it for you.

Having done a lot of research and spoken to my work programme adviser, we both felt that I can't go to the job in time with public transport so I just left the job and moved on.

I have applied for 5 jobs today in stockport as I easly can get to work on time as stockport is in manchester :D

I expect xXMessedUpXx was referring to the train from Manchester to Stockport, as the OP stated Stockport was in Manchester.

OP, have you asked the WP advisor to show you how to use the public transport planner?
