Checkout to Pay

Has anyone noticed these new checkout features some Sellers are using?

Auctiva being just one but there are others.

I paid for five items this morning, click on pay now, only to find that I had to do three of the items separately, through their own checkout system, which then takes you back to paypal in order to pay. Two of them were auctiva.

What a long-winded way of complicating a previously easy system!

Same here..I got bored after the first few screens, and began to regret buying the blasted thing.

sounds like a nightmare, why make things complicated?
Think I'll stay with normal paypal, don't want to frighten the buyers away!
I've found though, having paypal on my website is not so good, I've had 3 buyers ring me complaining about paypal checkout, it blocks their card if it's the one linked to their pp account and tries to force them to use their pp account only ( I wonder why:rolleyes: ), makes me wonder how many potential customers have just not bothered and gone elesewhere?
the sooner I get google checkout, the better.
