Help my printer is refusing compatable ink cartridges?

I have a Epsom SX235W printer and it has suddenly stopped accepting compatible ink cartridges? I would love to afford the real ones but needs must! Can anyone help? Please

Has one run out? Sometimes that happens on my Epson when one or two have run out, they come up with a message about not being compatible. I just replace them with more compatibles and it works again

It shouldn't have since I usually replace them all at the same time and to be honest I haven't used for a while but I'll pop out and see if Lidl have any in! Fingers crossed0
