Hi All,

Just to say I won PPI with barclaycard took a long time. Been with FOS for 14 months, just waiting for Barclays to work out the calculations. Never give up to anyone who is still waiting or deciding wether to go to the FOS.

Yeah I recently won against Barclaycard via the ombudsman, haven't heard anything back from Barclaycard yet with regards to settlement. Any idea how long that normally takes.

Depends if its just the adjudicator that has suggested that Barclay's up hold your claim they still may disagree and then it goes to the ombudsman which will take 12- 18 months however if its the ombudsman then shouldnt take too long. a couple of months I think

Hi Chez, my claim was upheld with Barclaycard via fos in march after only 8 month. The letter stated if I did not contact fos within 2 weeks of receiving their letter they would assume I was accepting the offer and notify Barclaycard. I received all the calculations and cheque together after approx. 5 weeks. Well done and hope you don't have to wait much longer
