Track Day present - should we have to pay extra?

I bought my husband a track day for Christmas this year. There were a couple of reasons that I chose this specific one. Firstly it had all the cars that I know he wants to drive but secondly because it had a track near us that did weekday sessions as my husband works shifts and I work weekdays it would be easier for us to go during the week.
When he phoned up to book it however he was told that the track we want to go to (Elvington) does not do weekdays. We can go to Loughborough which would mean him booking a day of work, or we can go to Elvington on a Weekend but would have to pay a £25 fee.
My question is should we have to pay the £25 fee as we bought this in good faith that we could use it at Elvington on a weekday? The paperwork that we have received with the voucher does say on it that you can book Elvington on a weekday.

But does the paperwork also say that they can make changes to the availability of trackdays? If it does then you may just have to put up with it I'm afraid.0

Such terms may also be considered 'unfair'.
Does the purchase itself stipulate any terms regarding days he can visit or any applicable charges on particular days?0
