Tried vistaprint but their options are not really suitable, well there was one but I recognised it as being the logo of a local company, thats obviously where they got it
Are there any other companies that do the same thing? Or should I do it myself, I only have microsoft word
If you want a logo on the cheap then, you should try Fiverr.com. There are quite a few people on that platform who are skilled in design and using photoshop.Lao Tzu - "Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime"

well it must have changed within the last 7 days as i installed the trial last week and it would not let you save anything until you upgraded to paid version. so i uninstalled as it is useless0 -

Photoshop CC? May have changed if so, I haven't tried that version. Tried CS3, CS4 or CS5 and CS6 trials and they all had full features including save.
I agree, it's useless if you can't save. You can still get previous trial versions though.0 -
I've created loads with www.logofresh.com or www.logomaker.com. On Logo Maker you can create & download a version that will be high enough quality for a website (but not for printing) for free.0

As someone has already mentioned - you could always try fiverr.com, but from my personal experience (and still using them to this very date), check out http://99designs.co.uk/ - put forward £199 and you'll get 30+ designs from different people. You can then give feedback while in the process and get something more what you like.
I really LOVE this as you get so many different ideas/designs to select from.My son is now an ‘entrepreneur’. That’s what you’re called when you don’t have a job. – Ted Turner0 -
You need to make sure you own copyright or have a licence to anything you use.Be happy...;)0

I wouldn't say having the logo in photoshop is a massive problem.
In my case I rendered it much bigger than it was needed and downsized for the website etc.
I will say I did eventually need it in vector for t-shirt printing to which I converted the high res logo to vector on a website and it came out perfectly.
I suppose the question is do you have any ideas or do you want one form scratch, I have designed my own and really like it.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

What is your budget for this? If there is one, then get a graphic designer to do it properly for you. Badly designed and constructed websites stand out a mile among the competition-for all the wrong reasons. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
