Parking Eye Parking Fine

I received a Parking Fine for staying at a motorway service station for 3 hours when the maximum is 2 hours. How can Parking Eye expect you to have a meal, a drink, buy whatever you need to buy and use the toilets within two hours?
Today is the last day for paying £60. I don't know what to do? I don't want to pay it as it is extortionate but I don't want to end up in court either.

Well I assume OF COURSE you weren't fooled so much that you paid it, and that you've now read a few threads on the parking forum and found the advice on the threads on the very first page of the forum all the time, posted again and again and again...every day...like here:

And I assume you have now sent your challenge (not naming the driver nor talking about 'what happened') now you have read other threads? Come back when you get a rejection letter and POPLA code but this time read other threads IN ADVANCE, read about POPLA, find out what makes a strong POPLA appeal - and it's not 'How can Parking Eye expect you to have a meal, a drink, buy whatever you need to buy and use the toilets within two hours?' I am afraid, you would LOSE with that appeal!
However, you will find lots of threads about POPLA appeals ready for stage 2, which will help you to win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
