Company credit card / Bad credit

Hi,
At work we have a Company Barclaycard Account with many individual card holders. The company have really good credit. I however have a really bad personal credit rating. My boss wants me to get a company credit card, will my personal credit rating affect me getting one on the Company Barclaycard Account?

Generally as the company is carrying the risk then there is no personal credit check done but some will do ID checks.
That said, I have heard of people being refused an American Express company card due to personal credit issues. With AmEx Company and Corporate do have different rules/ processes and this may well be the same for other issuers.
Never heard of anyone being refused a barclarycard company card but dont know many that use them0
