There isnt a 2007 UK version. Last I read was that there is no plans for a new UK version.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Yup, the newest one we have over here is the 2005 version - really good though, went from the 2000 version to 2005.0

Yes, MS Money is useful, but it isn't one of those programs that you would upgrade every year or so, just when you get a new PC.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
The 2003 (iirc) and 2005 versions were so similar that it wasnt worth the upgrade anyway. You would have to ask what a 2007 version could change to make it worthwhile. Maybe a new vista/office 2007 style interface and maybe better database handling of regular bills and deposits but apart from that, I cant see what else it could offer.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). It is Open Source software and will cost you nothing (it used to be just for Linux but they have now produced a Windows version). I've been using the Linux version for a while now to keep track of my personal finances and can recommend it.0 -
Hello quantock
I'll move your thread to the 'Techie Stuff' board.

I asked Microsoft UK a while ago and even they haven't been told by "head office" that there will ever be an upgrade to Money in Europe (never mind UK) past 2005."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I have the 2007 US version and like it alot, not quite sure what the major changes are though between that and UK 2005 version. Why give up in the Uk market? Perhaps Sage and Quicken are eating too much of their profit here...MFW #185

They gave up on the market because UK banks would not support the automatic downloading and updating of account information like the US banking system does with Microsoft Money0

In the US one you can actually us Microsoft Money to pay bill and do transfers. Now UK laws mean that they could never do this & why there are different versions0
