Protecting mobile phone

Any suggestions on protecting mobile phone ?
On my old one I tried using plastic film on touch screen for a while, but that can make it more difficult seeing/reading screen & taking photos.
Cases offer good protection, but get in way, add bulk, and delay in use.
But I haven't looked into cases enough to know if there's a good one to try.
Any suggestions on what to use or try ?
Thanks

Depending on the size of the phone, you could try a glasses pouch with a spring opening.

Protecting it from what?
Come back with the answer to that, and others might help with suitable suggestions, as there is so much out there, some better at one thing than another.
Also screen protects vary. Some are crap, some are pretty decent, and if you tend to get anti glare they are more "fuzzy" than pure clear ones, but then clear ones reflect light. Try different brands. Note full priced high street store ones (aka bleeding expensive ones) doesn't necessarily mean the best quality.
Case wise, as above to protect from what? drops, spills, scratches...?0 -

Some phones have far more durable glass than others so it will depend on make and model somewhat. Screen protector films are not all equal by a long straw. On my current Samsung Note 2 I have a repacement back with a thin front which opens like a book, works quite well.0

If you don't want extra bulk, but want to protect the back, sides and screen, from scratches then I'd say a gelaskin, if you can get one for your model phone. used in conjunction with a screen protector too. There are other decal typed stickers you can buy, but I only use gelaskins as I trust them with my equipment. I do have to cut down a protector to use it in the remaining screen space (the iphone for example the bezel is covered, so only the screen size remains, which I cut down a screen protector to fit)
Otherwise, go on ebay, and search your phone make/model and case/cover/pouch to see what comes up and if anything tickles your fancy.0 -
In my experience, even cheap phones have remarkably scratch resistant screens. So unless you intend treating it roughly, or are particularly clumsy, I wouldn't bother with a screen protector.Stompa0

Search for Juppa in Amazon store, cheap durable cases and very effective. Otterbox a bit more expensive but bullet-proof.
Edit. As above, screen doesn't need protecting unless you throw your phone into a handbag where it may conflict with stuff.0 -
i would highly recommend using a case in your phone.. my iphone 4 had soo many scratches which brought the value down when it came to selling it but i made sure for the iphone 5 i bought a case from proporta and well the case so far has done a good job. I hope that helped :j:j:j

Just buy a case to protect the phone, type "smartphone cases" into Google and pick the one you want0

There are plenty to choose from, if comfort is what you seek, you should opt for something like a clear screen protector. I saves your screen and you still enjoy touching it.
For FULL on safety, you should go for something hard, may be plastic cover for both front and back. There are FLIP ones too that look cool. You will find plenty of those at real good price.
Some offer free delivery too.0
