It's not expensive for a ticket to york minster and it allows you to revisit as much a you like for a year. The money is used for upkeep as the guide are volunteers.

Thanks, i think it's £9 each on the website, there's 8 of going so if i could find a BOGOF it would work out cheaper, i know they do a good job with the upkeep and appreciate all the money goes back into it, just skint at the moment.

The Yorkshire tourist information website has loads of offers for in and around York including a 2 for 1 offer for York Minster.

Can't post link as it says I'm a new user even though I joined in 2006? but it's www and then yorkshire and then .com
And then top right it says offers or just search for York Minster
