If your wife is awarded PIP it will not be impacted by your income as its not means tested.

Im confused now:o. my wife has put in for PIP, If she does get awarded PIP,what would she receive? And also,if I did start work would she still receive a PIP payment and what would it be.Thanking You.
We receive £224 a fortnight at the minute,if my wife is awarded PIP and I do start work would this affect her PIP payment (what ever that amount is) ??.Thanking You.

PIP is non means-tested and would not effect any other income in the household.

Please stop with using both my husband and my wife as it's very confusing. :(

The appeal will go ahead whatever happens but if your husband is working then you will not be entitled to ESA once your year is up. I presume you are in teh WRAG?

  • My wife is not in any group WRAG or the other one! So if i(husband )start work before the appeal and she wins the appeal she will receive nothing?? I thought the money we have been receiving was at a lower amount and if she did win she would get her (claim)back dated.

So she failed her WCA and the appeal is to get into a group, sorry I didn't get that. :o

Yes if she wins then she will get the back-dated money from week 13 of the claim. If in the WRAG then this is limited to one year but if the support group then it's indefinate.
