ppi letter from bank

Hi all,I received a letter from my bank today asking about ppi on previous loans ,many question to answer on the way it was handled at the time,it states i might be owed because of this,do i reply ,there is a time limit.and why would they want to give me money back,it just seems strange the bank would offer this service,any thoughts,thanks.

    They are making no such offer.

    If you read it again you will see that they are making you aware that you had PPI and areas where some people may have been mis-sold and are inviting you to make a complaint if you feel you too were mis-sold.

    It is known as a CCL and allows the bank to activate the 3 year timebar clock on you. it puts an end date to their liability on PPI complaints.
