You either continue to wait or you refer it to the FOS where you enter another 12-18 month queue. probably better to wait as we all know there is a delay due to so many complaints.

  • It may be worth giving them a quick ring. I waited about 9 weeks and when I rang was told a letter had been sent over a week previous, which I still haven't received. They sent a duplicate which arrived the next day!!!! They won't tell you the contents of the letter over the phone but it's worth a go in case it has gone astray.
Now just the wait for the cheque..........

8 weeks? It's taken me 10 months of phone calls, emails and frustration! It even states on their online banking website that it will be dealt with in 8 weeks. I hope it's true for you
    Good luck all :)

What on earth are you doing to be waiting 10 months? With the bank I hope and not the FOS?
Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi
  • I received a letter from Lloyds-Black Horse out of the blue!!!! Hadn't even applied for PPI repayment, silly I know.
After filling out the questionaire I received a reply saying they would respond in 8 weeks, which they did.
Seems very simplistic, would there be an ulterior motive for them virtually "offering" to give me money back?
Saying that, I'm still waiting for a cheque!
10 months seems a long time.
