Faxing: Windows via Linux

Hi, I'm now using a Win app to fax (my provider is Popfax). Who knows, will I keep the possibility to fax from app if I'll switch to Linux?

I've never faxed from Linux and it's been years since I did it under windows.

But I think if you have a built in fax modem in the PC then it should be shown under "printers" in Open Office (Libre Office) so to send a fax you just "print" to the fax modem and enter in the phone number.

But their should be a lot of free FAX programs available in linux.
