Hi I am organising a chairity holistic and craft fete for Saturday and I still have so much to do.
It's my first one I have ever organised by myself, I have helped other people in the past and even attended as a stallholder so I have a bit of a background in it.
I still have raffle prizes to sourse - I dont event know the laws of selling tickets at such an event.
I still have cakes to buy (I dont have time to bake any now) and refreshments to get as I have to stock the light refreshment kitchen. I have an account with Booker and other wholesalers but someone suggested it maybe cheaper to go to Asda or Tesco? Someone else even suggested going in late afternoon and speaking to the store manager and asking for a discount or free 'ready to spoil' cakes- Im not so sure about that one though?!
I still have some advertising to get done in the local area eg in the shops around the village hall and I also need to contact the local newspapers and radio.
I also have to sort something out for my O/H stall as he will be promoting his business (he's self employed) which is a car valeting company so its not practicle for him to wash cars on Sat at the fete. Am trying to come up with an idea for him as its indoors at the local village hall.
If anyone could help with useful and helpful advice I would be very aprreciative thanks
Enjoy the week everybody!
