Please.... Anyone been in This situation before.? During our IVA term, my husband has been made redundant several times, resulting in quite a few months off our payments. Late last year it happened again.! I rang Grant Thornton to explain & have my options explained, only to be told We had one more payment until we were complete.! I cried with joy after having it confirmed several times by the operator.! We have 3 young children but we scraped the payment together at Xmas time & felt free! I rang them to confirm the last payment was made & that we were complete, again I was told yes! Then I had the completion process of 6 months etc explained to me.
Last week I received a junk mail thing about PPI, this jogged me to ring Grant Thornton & see how close to receiving my certificate of completion I was......only to be told, after 8 months of having zero contact in any form from them, that our account is sitting in breach with 12 months left to pay & over £4000 as a balance! What the....??
I really do not know where I stand with this! Please please please help.! Thank you so much for reading my troubles.
