  • Please can someone help! I have a Glow-worm 30ci non-condensing combi boiler. The expansion vessel pipe was replaced a couple of weeks ago. Since then the hot water and heating have been working fine but the pressure displayed on the pressure gauge never changes even when the heating is on - it always shows 1.5. Is this likely to indicate a problem and, if so, is it likely to be a faulty pressure gauge or something more serious? Should I get an engineer in?

    Thanks for any advice!

Top it up slightly via the filling loop and see if the gauge moves up. If it doesn't then you'll know it's faulty. It should be around 1 bar when cold.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Thanks very much - I'll try that.
