Help needed buying a laptop

My son needs a new laptop and I'm struggling 
Ideally I wanted to buy him the same laptop he has already been using, which is a Fujitsu AH530 (4gb ram and 500gb HDD) but I can only find that one as a refurbished model.
The only thing it must have is Windows 7 and everything I'm looking at seems to be Windows 8. He's not a big Laptop gamer but there are a couple of games he has which only go up to Windows7.
I'm not very techie minded but if someone could help me find a bargain ...?

Not exactly outstanding value, but if you are going for Windows 7, your options are either to buy an older machine or one with Windows 8 Professional(which has Downgrade Rights).0 -
