Does anybody know the redundancy package for Unilever?
No Matter what you do there will be critics.

Are they still making people redundant?its a very generous redundancy package my other half was made redundant at Xmas it was very stressful though and they were very incompetent in how they dealt with things so be very careful with them

It depends if you are management or non management.
Enhancements tend to vary with each redundancy/site, depending on numbers being made redundant.

They are usually good at giving out info on the terms, but you would be best to speak to your union rep.

From our experience they are not good at all giving out information if anything they were incompetent, they withheld this information, matrix scoring info was withheld,P45 info filled out incorrectly resulting in delays in JSA,even people who took voluntary and retirement the HR had not informed the pension people of this resulting in delays in pensions, not what you would expect from a big company.Even wanting a CA in exchange for a reference.in our case no union reps available cos they were off sick

I was meaning that the redunancy terms are generally well known.

Your experience does not reflect my own, but I guess it does vary from site to site. Must be a smaller site if all the union reps were unavailable.

A compromise Agreement can be more complex and requires certain legal procedures to be followed so can take some time.
