I live with my disabled partner and we get full housing benefit, our rent is charged weekly and the HB paid every four weeks in arrears.
UC however is paid every month not every 4 weeks, are we expected to make up the shortfall in rent ourselves? Couldn't find any info on this at all.

The award will be appropriately calculated so that the calculated amount is paid.
They don't just not pay 2-3 days of rent a month.
(HB payments may not cover the full amount for other reasons though).
Someone with a disabled partner will not be one of those initially moved to UC.0 -

You will be moved onto UC once the next General Election is out of the way.These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0
