Alice band with elastic

I wonder if you can help.
It is my DD birthday coming up and she has asked for a head band.
The type she has seen is a plastic type hard upper, but it then has an elastic band that goes under her hair at the back.
Normal Alice bands hurt by her ears as they press in. The one she saw on someone last week made it look like it was a normal band but it then had the elastic that goes full circle.
Has anyone seen one and knows where to find one?
Thanks

CLaires accessories?
Sometimes the larger Boots stores have a good range of hair stuff like this too.0 -
Monsoon/Accessorize have a good selection of that type.
Just had a look on their website, they've only got 3 on there but have lots more instore, they call them Bandos if that helps your search.

Claire's accessories do them but didn't have a great range for my DD when I was in a couple of weeks ago, not sure how old your daughter is, mine is nearly 6 and the ones they had were a wee bit big for her."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Ooh, I remember that exquisite pain of a too tight alice band"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

I saw a few of them in Primark today if that helps (I was going to buy a couple but OH would go mad as I have "enough hair things")"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

When you could buy ribbons of all sorts in "haberdashers" shops (aka the wool shop!) I used to make mine - a bit of velvet ribbon with knicker elastic stitched to it! Could also decorate with bits and pieces .....maybe there's a market for them now .......there's an idea!0
