Enabling Java on a BB8520

I was checking my device, and it seems it is powered by Java. However, when I try to access sites such as southernrailways.com & thetrainline.com to book train tickets, it says "JavaScript must be enabled to use this site".
Anybody knows the know-how?

Javascript is an interpreted language derived from ECMAscript, similar to VBscript and nothing to do with Java.
