eBay/Paypal Payment not all showing as "available"

I just received a Paypal payment of £282 for an eBay item, but while the transaction of £282 appears in Paypal my "Available balance" is only showing as £272.21. Since there was a zero balance on my Paypal account immediately before this I don't understand why all of the £282 is not "available".
Any ideas??
