Faulty Mothercare Pushchair

Hi I just wanted some advice beforw heading back into mothercare today.
My dad brought a pushchair for me in march this year. My son was born in may so only started using it then.
On Friday the zip that lays the seat down broke (its a travel system and we've mostly used it as a pram so actually only used the zip a maximum of 10 times)
I took the pushchair into mothercare where they told me they can only send it off for repair.
They gave me a loan pushchair which is a stroller and when I got home and removed the liner it is filthy!
Basically I want to know if I am entitled to ask for a refund for the pushchair as I'm worried that it's just going to break again considering how much use it got before it broke this time.
I just don't want the hassle of having to keep getting it repaired seeingas it leaves me without a pushchair for up to 28days!
Thanks in advance for any help!

The retailer has 3 choices.
Repair
Replace
Refund.
Its entirely up to them which route they take and obviously they are going to go for the cheapest.
Thems the rules....make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
