Mortgage free and moving house

As the title says, I'm mortgage free and looking to moving, my next move will also allow me to live mortgage free - hurrah for me!
However, as I've never purchased without a mortgage just wondered if anyone can shed light on any differences in the purchasing process?
Would the solicitor be able to recommend a surveyor, or possibly the estate agent?
Any and all advice would be most appreciated.

Mortgage Free buyer = pros : fewer restrictions, choose own surveyor, holy grail of buyers, sellers wet dream buyer, conveyancing shorter.
Cons : buyer more likely to gazunder, more likely not to worry about surveys, searches etc. initial offer more likely to be lower0 -

There's no difference.
You instruct a solicitor to handle the sale/purchase and find a surveyor to check the property is worth what you're paying. I simply googled for surveyors in the new area I was moving to to find mine - I most definitely would not accept any recommendation from an EA.Every generation blames the one before...

No problem G_M just a question, as previously I have always had a mortgage and just wasn't certain if there's anything different I need to consider.
