If the landlord doesn't agree to letting me go early then what can he do legally if I just go anyway. I really can't afford to lose the last months rent but I'm willing to and borrow that money so I can use it for a new place cos it is making me ill and obviously my health comes first.0

If you go and don't pay all of the rent to the end of the six months contract he can pursue you through the courts for your unpaid rent. Still, he's got to find you first.....0

6 months would not normally be a long time for me at all but I'm just not happy there and it will get worse once the guy moves out which is now definitely happening asap as the landlord and the guy have both confirmed.
The thing about if something needs fixing/sorting out contact the landlord is fine but he is out of the country a lot of the time which was fine when the property manager was about as he sorted stuff out but now he is going.0 -
