Default Amount

So I recently found out I have a default on my account from April due to moving and Orange not updating my address!!! I have now paid the sum of £27 to settle the debt (of which I didnt know about) my question is I got a credit card last month and was fine, do creditors look at the amount owed or is a default a default.

BTW pristine record other then that x

They will all score differently (and view defaults differently). So impossible to say, while one will accept others will decline.

Default is a default regardless of amount. The difference is how each lender views a default in relation to the rest of your credit file. Sounds like you have a good enough history for the default not to cause huge problems.
