Hi Folks
Can someone please advice to the best way of uploading an image and sending it to a contact, other than sending it as an attachment?
At present, the way I do it is take a picture of the image on phone, store it in the My Pictures folder on my PC, and then send it as an attachment. However, I want the other person to view the image as it is rather than having to open an attachment.
Thanks in advance

I use Photobucket and Dropbox. Dropbox has integration for Android and iOS never checked on photobucket, I use that mainly for posting images on forum threads, with dropbox you send the other person the link to the photo(s) or you could create them a folder where they have access .4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Thanks for your reply debitcardmayhem.
Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you use dropbox or photo bucket to post images on forum threads?
With dropbox, don't you actually have to have the photo developed first, and then scanned into your folder on your PC?0 -

I use photobucket for forum pics, If I have a lot of pics to show one person only or a closed group, I create a folder on Flickr, which can be passworded and time limted to view.0 -

when you say you take a photo of the image,do you mean you photograph a photograph? Or that your phone is your camera?
If you want to upload an image that is a physical photograph you would be better off scanning it onto your pc and then put it in dropbox and you can send a link to the other party which is private between the two of you so they can access the picture or folder of pictures.0 -
Hi Folks
Thanks for all your help, so far.
I have now created an account with photo bucket and downloaded my images.
How do I obtain a url, so that I can post the image in a forum posting (for example).
Thanks

Go to the image and on the right you should have some option use direct link , it copies to your clipboard which you can then paste it into the insert image box ( on here its a postcard from the mountains)4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . I can't see anything on the right. Do you mean go to the image and do a right click with the mouse?0
