Sue, just to let you know you used one of the boys names in a post. Not its not a conscious decision you might want to edit. :)

It's ok, he has given his permission for me to use his name in posts now.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I am doing herts library - not that many random books and most out on loan so you the reserve them and then they all come available at once and you only get 7 days to read it before the loan ends....

Unless it is a Hot Pick, it should be 21 days with up to four renewals if nobody else wants it.

Living in Hertfordshire and being a customer, I know how the library service works very well there:D.

ETA: if using eLibrary, choice to borrow for 1 or 3 weeks. Choice from any eLibrary is limited by publishers, who won't allow their titles to be loaned electronically. The audio book offerings tend to be better.

Yes, ebooks, on the 29 quid nooks that got the kids into reading for about 2 weeks before they got bored - still good news for me (and I have rooted and flashed it so it can be used as a full android tablet although it is fairly limited in its abilities as a tablet and adjusting the screen to it refreshes quickly enough to play games is not recommended in terms of longevity)

Just ordered 3 tablets from China as kids xmas pressies although the suggestion is that it is a mis-price given the spec.
    I think....

Tablets are so cheap now I do wonder how long before the eBook reader goes the way of the Betamax. It was the first time I'd taken my 7" tablet on hols as prior to that I had a netbook. It's so easy to do stuff.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I secretly worry that everything will go the way of Betamax!

Flat 7up or sprite has been easier for me to drink than water. I've got a GPs appointment tomorrow evening, but I'll have to take Isaac with me. He won't mind, a nightime excursion with Mummy will seem fun to him.

    .

I had to read that twice as I read it as a nightmare excursion with Mummy.:rotfl:
