We've got loads of different ones - shall I post you a selection, see what you like?

    You are such a lamb!

No its fine, I know lots I like, I just ran out then decided try some different ones. Plus ones I used to like I know longer do (three bloody ginger,....what the hell was I thinking?). The latest one I bought was liquorice and something. I don't love liquorice so I was probably being optimistic.

My most common drink is a spring or rosemary and sometimes a bit of lemon in hot water, but I have to cut back on the lemon ( they leave me nothing, nothing I tell you!). I've gone fit off mint, can no longer stand white, or green.

It doesn't help that as my options narrow I seem to be getting fussier! :rotfl:

There is a pukka one in a pink packet I like, I'll buy that tomorrow, and I think I have some hibiscus on the top of the big cupboard I'll ask DH to lift down for me and I shall drink unseasonal tea!

I think all this modern way of living, with people moving hundreds of miles away and moving about more is robbing our culture and heritage of these long local memories.

I wish I'd been born in and lived in just one place. I've no sense of place or identity.

You know, as a nomadic mongrel,.....I sort of get this. I do have a strong sense of identity with all my 'bonded places' but as I age, with no kids, limited near by extended family I am getting a few wobbly moments of 'what are these choices we are making for'. I especially think of DH.

I have getting ready malaise for tonight, hair done, face not yet. There is a bdsm thread on the marriage board and I cannot decide whether its 'authentic' or not.

I actually quite fancy dh's initial, tiny, under my wedding ring. He is suitably horrified but said I could have first and last initials huge over each bottom cheek with no objection. :rotfl:

Only problem with that is that presumably anyone else with the same initials could also claim possession of said assets....

Her MRI scans showed up all her organs as 100% healthy except for this bile duct and she really thought she had cancer.

Glad it's not cancer. Hope the op goes well.

    Lovely. Hope you have fun.

Every once in a while I venture onto the marriage & relationships board, but it's never long before I am made to remember why I left it the previous time.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

It is a mystery how the eastenders folks manage to pay the high rents of the area they supposedly live in, yet work 3 shifts a week in a laundrette.
I first remarked this when Michelle, single mother, was doing a course and working at the cafe .... and yet raised a mortgage on a big house (3 beds) on the Square.

Also, it doesn't matter how little they earn they all live in nice places and have money to go out and socialise in the pub/eat at the cafe and go out on the town and use taxis.

It's not just Eastenders .... they do it on Caronation Street and in Emmerdale too... and even Home & Away in Australia sees all the teens at school having plenty of cash to be spending it at the cafe after school every day!
