Download Radio shows from Kiss FM Kube?

Afternoon all,

Anyone know of a way to download shows from here http://radioplayer.kissfmuk.com to my pc, trying to save a bit on my mobile data.

It's a low-tech solution that will slightly degrade sound quality, buuut, if you play the programme in the web player, you can use Audacity to record your sound card's output, and then convert the recording to an MP3 (to save space). So you have to hit "record" and "stop" in real-time, just like in the old days when you could record radio broadcasts to cassette tape.

Effectively, by recording compressed audio as a waveform, then compressing it again, the audio quality will be reduced.

If you can find the "real" stream address (Google didn't come up with a quick answer) then Screamer Radio ( http://www.screamer-radio.com/ ) is good at recording radio streams.

Cheers all will give these a look, Bat999 will the RTMPDumpHelper programe do the "listen again" shows or only the live stuff?

Thanks, stuggled to get it working to start with but after a bit of googling and searching youtube think I've got it working, guess the only downside is I've got to have it running 3hours to record the whole show. Cheers

Checked out that link and indeed it does got to 27mb on no time at all and converted with Format Factory and played with VLC no problem.



Gave the kiss one another go and left it for a bit while I was working just to see if it needed more time to save but still the same. Still useful though
