Has anyone bought bedroom furniture from Dunelm Mill?

We are thinking about buy some bedroom furniture from their, Richmond, Dorchester and Chichister ranges.When we went to look instore they only had the small pieces of furniture like bedside tables and chests of drawers. We love the way they look but when we turned then around we noticed that the back was just a piece of MDF that has been stapled on.
We were looking to buy some triple and double wardrobes and to cut a long story short customer service contacted the manufacturer who confirmed that all of the furniture will be finished this way.
They are cheaper than say Furniture Village, so my questions are has anyone bought furniture from Dunelm and are you pleased or have you had any problems?
Does £900.00 for a triple wardrobe with a 'stapled back' seem about right or would you expect better for the money?

As this has had 102 views but no repliedsI would assume that people on MSE do not buy furniture from Dunelem which does not bode well for our purchase!!

I would rather buy out of IKEA as much better value for money there.

I would certainly not spend £900 on any piece of furniture that has MDF stapled to it.

I thought that it was a lot of money for stapled furniture but I just wanted to know if I was expecting to much for our money as it is a very long time since we bought furniture!
