They can be an absolute pain (just scanning more paperwork for a case with them now) they need certified copies of everything, client has 3 btl's wouldn't accept electronic copies of tenancies, so had to print 3 tenancies (30+ pages each) to certify then rescan !I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I've just had a new enquirer ring me and ask me about Accord. I asked him about being unable to remortgage in two years and their 5.99% SVR and their lousy service.
I told him about this place too!

The issue is that I am on a fixed term contract, and i thought that this would be the main stumbling block but this part has been fine.
It is all the other bizarre questions they ask. But looks like am stuck with it as according to my broker not many mortgage companies accept people on fixed term contracts (and to be fair their rate is very good at 3.09% fixed 5 yrs 75% LTV).
You would think that having a accord mortgage for the last 5 years, and not missing a payment would help, but alas no.
and breath!!:)0 -

Check your email... DAILY updates to say no update!!!
They sent me an email to ask for feedback..... Weeeelllllllll that was entertaining. I spent about an hour on it saying their underwriters are pedantic, they ask for paperwork for the sake of it, why not ask for it all upfront (like every other lender seems capable of doing), why can they not just send me emails when there has been an update - although it had a few more exclamation marks in it.
I actually felt like i was getting rid of 2-3 months worth of pent up frustration (from mortgage advice!).I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
