  • Spending for past two days:

    Wednesday: NSD
    = £7.50
Thursday: £4.39 - banana, cereal bar, single bus fare
    = £3.11

    Total spend = £4.39

Total left for the week: £48.11

So, spending isn't going quite to plan but I'm sure I can cut back throughout the week(end). And if not, my original plan left me with a surplus, so worse case scenario will be not having money leftover, rather than overspending. Well, thats the plan anyway!

    Lots of positives today:
 Mega session at the gym
 Got £17.41 TCB payable. Need to decide whether I want it in cash or Tesco clubcard points.
 Booked my first mystery shop for next week

Got lots to do this evening and am exhausted! So better get going x
    Debt total (21/09/13) - [STRIKE]£4076.51[/STRIKE] £4015.00
    Month 2 Overpayments: £60.27 /£100
    1% challenge (started 26/08/13): £21.27 - 2.5% /100%

  • Well, my budget for last week was a bit of a disaster. Got a bit excited on the weekend, and it panned out as follows:

    Friday: £4.00 - bus fare
I went out in the evening too, and kept to my £40 budget. Mostly due to my legendary and lovely OH who came to pick us up at the early hours saving a fortune in taxi.
    Saturday: £9.49 + £11.49 + £31.60 = £52.58 - lunch, car oil, petrol
    Sunday: NSD

    Weekend total: £56.58
    Weekly total: £60.97
    :eek::eek:

This leaves an overspend of £8.47

Must do better this week. :o

    Plan is as follows:

    Weekly budget - £52.50

Wednesday: £10.00 - bus fare, food
    Thursday: £4.00 - bus fare
    Friday: £4.00 - bus fare
Saturday: 5.00 - general spend as away for the weekend. Have an extra budgeted amount to cover the rest of this cost.
Sunday: £5.00 - same as above.
    Monday: £10.00 - bus fare & food
    Tuesday: £4.00 - bus fare

    Total budgeted spend = £42.00

Lets see how this week goes! :o

  • What a hectic few weeks! My budget has gone okay, although as I've lent a family member some money its going to be pretty tight over the next few weeks.

One bit of good news is that we have finally got most of our deposit back. Well, it will come in the next week.

Have this week off work as were moving to our new flat so my weekend is being spent packing, packing and cleaning!

Haven't made any overpayments other than the ones at the beginning of the month which is really frustrating, but this month was always going to be a bit of a debt free battle due to the move.

I have closed one old credit card which I cleared ages ago but was just lurking on my credit report, so I'm pleased thats done.

Better get back to packing. Sorting toiletries has taken me over an hour, dread to think how long the rest is going to take :o
