Paypal account Hacked

Hello everyone,
I just joined the forum because I've run into some trouble with my paypal account being hacked. Three days ago ( July 30th) I recieved emails saying that I've changed my security questions and password, along with emails saying I've sent payments. First payment was $1.00 then the second was $51.00 to a Troy Wilstead.
I originally phoned the UK paypal services because I've moved to the UK on the 21st.. They did help me change my password and get back into my account, but that was it.
Then today I recieved an email saying:
I then called the canadian paypal services and they said they would put a claim through.. How do I know that this one will go through in my favour? Also, what if it doesn't go through in my favour? They can't expect me to pay for a transaction I never made! What would you suggest I do about this?
How can I possibly prove to them I've been hacked or that it wasn't my doing? When the first thing I knew about it was their email ( I've scanned my laptop with 3 different programs- Spybot, Avira, & Malwarebytes)
Because I've recently moved to the UK I had closed my Canadian bank accounts before this transaction (hacked account) had taken place. So technically this transaction shouldn't have gone through. (I use it to transfer money when I'm buying something, I don't store my money in paypal)
I'm concerned that when I do link my UK bank accounts to paypal they will try to take this money off me. I really want to stick to my guns over this.
I really appreciate any advice given as this is the first time something like this has ever happened to me. I look forward to hearing from you!

."We have completed our investigation of your case and, as there is insufficient evidence in support of your claim, we have denied your Unauthorized Account Use Claim."
