A quick question for the thick please?
I am buying an android tablet which comes with a USB OTG cable. I also have a T-mobile broadband PAYG dongle.
Once all is connected up and neccessary Settings completed, will I be able to access the internet. The dongle says it is ok for Windows 7, XP and Vista, although I appreciate that the tablet software does not run on any of them....or do I need a special dongle specifically for android tablets?
Thanks.....sorry its a bit vague.....

Most tablets are for use with w-fi, but some can operate with a dongle.
I have a Scroll Excel and I use my 3 dongle with it without any problem.David.0 -
It can be hit and miss but it may work straight away.. what make is the dongle?
Huawei (very common manufacturer) ones are often successful with android.
I use my one as you describe, its a Huawei E160 and my ICS (Android 4.04) tablet recognised and uses it fine on OTG.0 -
There really isn't any way to find out except by plugging in and giving it a go.0
