I have noticed there is a post already going saying have you received your tax credit award yet.
I gave them all our details on p60 then i received my award but it says on it PROVISIONAL .When i rang them they said the final award is being sorted .
Does everybody get an award at first saying provisional on it then receive a final award ?I am alittle worried just in case they are paying me wrong is this provisional award standard.
I wondered in the post which says have you received your tax credit award do they mean the final award.I received my provisional award 7 days after giving them our income details.

Yes, it's just coincidence that your provisional award arrived a week after you gave them your income details. You'd have got it anyway as they always do a provisional award until the renewals are completed and returned.
Unless your income, or personal circumstances, have changed considerably this year, your provisional award will not be far off your new one.
