The work related activity group is _NOT_ work.

In most cases, the requirements on the claimant are very minimal.
What you will likely be required to do on JSA is likely to be _much_ more severe than any requirements placed on you as a ESA-WRAG claimant.
You are paid IB up until the day of the decision that you are fit for work - as IB is paid in arrears you may get as much as two weeks more money.
    DLA is not affected.
You will be entitled to little or no help other than your JSA money. There is in principle extra help for the disabled at the jobcentre - many people find this close to nonexistant in practice.
If the JSA advisors you see are not sympathetic and understanding of your condition, you may face your benefit being sanctioned.

If you fail the assessment for ESA - you can appeal - and remain on the same amount of money you would get on JSA - the appeal is likely to take much of a year.
https://www.gov.uk/return-to-work-credit - it is advantageous if you can to go straight from IB or ESA into work - at least until october.

The hours you are required to work for tax credits as a disabled person are somewhat lower than as an able bodied person.

As to the assessment - though there are lots of horror stories - I found both of my assessments professionally conducted, with the assessor paying attention to what I was saying, and making the best assessment they reasonably could have done in the time.

Are you completely sure about this OP? I have been on both JSA and ESA - WRAG and the difference between them was massive, you are under far more pressure on JSA. The face to face assessment is not all that bad, and is over very quickly. I know we all read horror stories regarding ATOS but that doesn't mean you will go through the same and not score enough points. (I went through two assessments, both fine)

Also, if you're this worried about an ATOS assessment how will you cope with job interviews, job centre appointments etc?

What makes you think that you will be eligible for JSA money? i.e. that you won't only be eligible for National Insurance Credits only?

    Marital status?
    Savings?

When you claim JSA your IB will stop from the day you start your JSA. You won't get any run on of IB.

Important to note in order to be paid on ESA appeal you will need sicknotes from your doctor. Starting from the day of disallowance, so if you intend to do this talk to your doctor now to ensure you will get sicknotes.

I agree with the other comments and only have one additional thing to mention... you are in receipt of DLA, your award of high rate care means you currently need either frequent attention throughout the day and prolonged/repeated attention at night or continual supervision by day and someone to watch over you at night, and for low rate mobility guidance and/or supervision in an unfamiliar place. Bear in mind that if your health limitations have improved such that this is no longer the case you have a duty to notify the DLA department.

Sorry to add another fly in the ointment.

Others have commented re the switchover but I do disagree with the comment that you will receive no extra help from the Jobcentre.

If you explain your situation and the fact you want to work and need help you should be referred to a Disability Advisor who can give specialist help. You won't be shoved into something you can't do, they are there to help you into something you can. And they do give help with CV's and the like. The one thing is you will have to make sure you don't miss any appointments and if you can't because you are ill your claim would be closed if it happens more then twice in twelve months.

What you have to ask yourself is do you want a job and do you feel ready, and I'm talking about a realistic job you could do...

I am certain that I would be entitled to JSA after reading JSA eligibility requirements on the gov.uk website.

    Please humour me then....

    What is your marital status?
And do you have savings more than £6000
Do you have any other income apart from DLA like pension income.?
