Free HMRC Approved PAYE software recommendations, anyone?

Although not free, I have a similar set up & use Sage Payroll. It works out about £100 plus VAT a year & pretty much everything is done on the installation of a Cd, plus a few extra pounds for P60s (e-bay) at year end. I have found it so easy to use, plus they have a really good help line.0

I diiid iiiiit!
I managed to find the right link and do it online. That wasn't exactly crystal clear!
I have downloaded some software for RTI and so now I guess we just have to wait until HMRC have verified our details and give us the references, etc.
I will report back! Thanks again for your advice everyone :j0 -
I did download Brightpay in the end by the way, as it's free for businesses with less than 3 employees (we just have me!). It has templates for payslips and p60's - it looks quite sophisticated and I'm hoping that it proves to make things simpler.
I'm limited as to what I can do until we get the PAYE references through, but I'm quite looking forward to getting it all entered into Brightpay and into a routine with it.
(I might not be saying that when it happens mind you...although they do have video tutorials, which are a fab idea.)0 -

Why do you pay for P60's when you can download a PDF directly from HMRC's website?
They also have the P11d's online for free download too. And they are Sage compatible. You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
My company also uses payroo - very good free tool (for under 10 employees). I recommend it.0
