BT - The Good, The Bad and The Stupid

The Good
An Irish guy who solved every problem so far when I spoke to him. Also, not being with BT any more is good.

The Bad
The rest of their customer service I have had to deal with (lied to a few times, the rest of the time people not even bothering to read what I wrote).

The Stupid
The person who tried to tell me I lived at another location completely (when trying to update my address), like I am some kind of liar. In fact, every experience has been full of stupidity (aside from with the Irish guy).

Maybe I have just been unlucky with my BT experiences and they are actually good. I doubt it though.

So the fun continues of trying to get money back that they owe me. (I told them before they calculated the final bill that it was wrong, only a couple of months after did they refund it... to my BT account that is closed.)

I actually got slightly more back from BT than I was entitled to, when I left (I figured that one of the beads had fallen off the abacus:rotfl:)

The Stupid - the BT Mumbai CSR who insisted that I had to check my phone line at the test socket even after I had told him (for the third time) that I had an old set up which didn't have a test socket!!

:D Oh dear, they even employ geniuses in their tech department. There was another nightmare over the years. It's something that Virgin Media (so far) seems to be good about when it comes to their own equipment, unlike BT.
