Will my BT calling plan discount continue after the contract period?

Hi everyone,
I don't really want to phone BT and ask because I know that they will just come up with another deal for me that is what I am paying now minus 1p for another 18month contract, however I may not be at this address for that long and if not, wouldn't be taking my BT account with me.
So ideally, I'd like things to stay as they are I'm coming to the end of an 18 month contract for "Unlimited Evening and Weekend calls" with a monthly discount bringing it to less than the currently advertised most basic option of £15.45/mo.
However, my memory doesn't really go back 18 months and I can't remember if the customer options guy indicated that the discount would stop after 18 months and I'll then be paying £17.45/mo unless I phone them up and tell them that's not going to happen; or whether once you've got a deal you stay on that deal even once the contract period is up (which is how it works in a lot of cases, I just don't know for sure here). I didn't get (or have lost if I did) any printed T&C for my current deal.
Anybody familiar with BT contract options shed any light?

Usually the discounted deal ends when the minimum period ends.
To get a new discounted deal you normally have to take on a new minimum period in return.0 -
18 months ago OFCOM outlawed auto renewing deals so now when the minimum time is up you will go onto the "standard" tariff unless you phone them to do a fresh deal.0

I guess my contract just missed the OCFOM ruling as I just received my first quarterly bill after coming to the end of my contract, and was charged for the same calling plan for the next 3 months but without the discount
A quick call to customer services, and it has of course been sorted, and I am back on the bog standard tariff.
But how many people don't stay on top of their BT bills, accept a deal from customer options, and then continue to pay over the odds for a calling plan they don't need once that contract and discount expires0
