Hi
I live in central London so I always difficult to find big showrooms etc. to view products. Just wondered if anyone knew of any good places with a large selection of exterior (and interior if possible) tiles/stone flooring in the London or just outside London area. I am looking for inspiration and ideas. I have had brochures from companies that look great but they are often in the south west or north.
Many thanks

I can't remember the name of it now, but when in my last property I got some tiles from a tile warehouse place somewhere near Camden.
Many industrial estates on the borders of London have tile warehouses, so perhaps a look in the Yellow pages or a google search will turn up some places you could try.
Other than that, try to see if there are any shops such as Tile Giant, Topps etc not too far from you so you could go see what they have on offer. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Hey there,
YES, I know just the place for it. The company is called Galacroft Floors. It's in my neighborhood actually so you might see me there
Really, I can see people coming in and out of the store every day.0 -
I can't remember the name, but I do remember seeing a property programme on the telly where they went to a HUGE warehouse and it was ONLY in London. Biggest/best place in the country to go for fittings/materials apparently.0

World's End Tiles have a branch in Great Portland Street, but their Battersea showroom is the one to go to, also Surface in Battersea. Reed Harris & European Heritage in Fulham are well worth a look. All fairly upmarket but some really great stuff in all of them.
Could also try a trip up N11 to Bounds Green Road in New Southgate where there are four of five cheaper tile/stone warehouse type places within a 100 yards of each other just north of the North Circular junction.0 -

Unless of course it's your day off & you aren't working thereI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0
