Help please folks.
I sold a dining table on ebay and stated it must be collected in person. I had several bidders and the winner came in at the end. I had a look at their rating and they have 100%, have been registered for 7 years and have all fantastic feedback, but when I emailed them to arrange payment and collection I heard nothing. I'm really confused as it seems out of character of the bidder. Should I send them a final warning, report them or what? It just seems strange but I want my table collected. Can I offer to the second bidder instead?

How long has it been since the sale?
Collection in person is always difficult as I assume you are expecting cash. You can't resell as the first buyer remains eligible to buy, and leave feedback until you cancel the sale, you also have FVFs to pay.
Normally I would suggest you open an NPB but that will force buyer to pay by paypal.
I think at this stage I would call up the buyers details and give them a call.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for your reply.
It's been 5 days since it was sold and I've heard nothing. What is an NPB please?0 -
Perhaps they forgot to log in again to check - I think you have some sort of right to offer it to someone else or relist it if they don't pay after a certain period of time - I don't know how long though.0

There is no 'right' at all protection wise until seller has safely cancelled
The original sale. The sale remains live until such time it is cancelled, although the buyers ability to leave feedback expires after 45 days.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
