budgeting loans while on CTC

I was wondering if i am able to claim a budgeting loan or community care grant whilst in receipt of child tax credit?? it seems to say income support and others but not CTC??

I am in receipt of child tax credit, a single parent(seperated). My son is disabled and on high rate DLA for both care and mobility, and i receive carers allowance. The house is in desperate need of decorating and some furniture etc, would i be entitled to apply??

Also ive been diagnosed with chronic fatigue, and also had spinal surgery in 2005, and tho the horrendous pain i was in is nowhere near like it was, i still have to be very careful what i do. should i apply for DLA, wasnt sure as i get carers allowance for my son if i was able to?? Any advice appreciated.

do you not claim income support? I would have thought that you would be entitled even if its only small amount.

If because of your back you need help with mobility, personel cares or even cooking(you don't have to actually get this help) then i would apply.Get someone to help you fill in the form, as you know they are horrendous.

look here for advice on community grants

    and here for budgeting loans

so it looks like you can't claim at the moment but you could try and claim income support
