Confused over redundancy entitlement.

I have been reading this:
https://www.gov.uk/redundant-your-rights/notice-periods
...but to me it's not clear.
I realise that I do not qualify for statutory redundancy pay since I have not been working for the company for two years. However the section about the notice period has confused me.
To explain, we have been given one week to decide whether to take voluntary redundancy, after which there is a meeting to notify us if we are forced to take compulsory redundancy or not depending on who else has elected to leave. The notice we get after the meeting to leave is an additional week.
1. I assume we get paid as normal throughout this period?
2. My contract says I have a notice period of two months - does that come into play?
3. I have a fair amount of holiday left - is it compulsory for them to pay this under compulsory redundancy?

Hi, sorry to hear of your situation.
The good news - such as it is - is that the answer to all your questions above is 'yes'

Very interesting, thank you!0

If you were not required to work the full two months notice then they could instruct you to take your holiday at the end of your notice period. So you might not be paid for the holiday in addition.0 -

I think you mean that if you do work your notice period, the company can require you to take your outstanding holidays during your notice period - that's true.
If on the other hand, you are not required to work your notice, but are instead paid a payment in lieu of notice, then they must also make payment for the holidays accrued but not taken.I'm a retired employment solicitor. I was thinking of working early part of notice period and/or "gardening leave".0
