PPI letter from HSBC - don't remember the loan?!

Hi there - I'm hoping someone can help me!
I've had 2 letters from HSBC now which state that I took out PPI with a personal loan. Problem is, I'm pretty sure I've never had a personal loan in my life!
Obviously I don't want to miss out if I am entitled to something - but should I phone HSBC and ask for more information on this 'loan' or just return the questionnaire and tick 'don't remember' for every question?!!
Thanks in advance!

You are not entitled to anything. That isnt how it works. You would need to put in a complaint giving your reasons for complaint. If their files agree with you or show any other failing then they would pay a refund of the PPI premium.but should I phone HSBC and ask for more information on this 'loan'
Probably makes sense. Otherwise you end up looking like a liar if you put in a fake complaint or if you did have a loan, you reduce your chances of success by saying you dont remember.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Either one works. They probably won't tell you that much more over the phone. The letter should have approximate dates of this loan.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
